We are industry agnostic investors providing funding to enable entrepreneurs create scalable products and revenue generating businesses. Our focus is on underserved Entrepreneurs who intuitively understand the dominant African market and are tackling systematic problems with sustainable solutions. We prioritize businesses that have at least one founder who holds significant equity that comes from a gender or geographically underserved background, particularly female Entrepreneurs or Entrepreneurs from Northern Nigeria.

PMVIF Model
We invest in idea-stage companies led by visionary Entrepreneurs through the Pennington Promise Minimum Viable Investment Fund (PMVIF) model. Our novel venture studio approach combines institutional capital with hands-on support in design and operations, co-building the company to achieve viability. This flexible strategy starts with a minimal capital infusion, sufficient to validate the business concept and launch an MVP, with the initial capital infusion capped at essential requirements. We then invest further if needed, with funding tied to a set of time-bound milestones, ensuring a disciplined and focused growth process. By integrating investment with expertise and structured guidance, we aim to accelerate growth, reduce friction, and foster long-term sustainability.
Pre-Seed Funding
We invest up to $20,000 in exceptional Entrepreneurs at the pre-product, pre-revenue stage, supporting innovative ideas and nurturing early-stage growth. Nothing is too early for us to consider, apply for a chance to meet our investment team.
